Jack, a scrappy little terrier, had always lived his life on the streets. For as long as he could remember, he had to fend for himself and find his own scraps of food. But despite all his hardships, Jack remained a happy dog, never letting his struggles bring him down. That all changed when he stumbled upon a young woman named Laura.
Laura was unlike anyone Jack had ever met before. She had a kind heart and a soft voice, and she seemed to understand Jack in a way that no one else ever had. What happened next was a blur of adrenaline and instinct. Jack lunged at Jim, his teeth bared and his muscles tense. He lunged at Jim’s face, biting down hard on his nose. Jim yelped in pain and shoved Jack away, but it was too late – the damage had been done.
The police arrived soon after that, and Jim was taken away in handcuffs. Laura was in shock when she heard what had happened. She had never seen Jack act so fiercely before. But she was grateful beyond words that he had protected her.
