The town of Holstenwall was never the same after the arrival of Dr. Caligari. Some whispered that he was a sorcerer, others claimed he was a madman. Francis and Alan were two young men who frequented the town fair, where Dr. Caligari performed his cabinet act. They were both smitten with the beautiful Jane, but it was Francis who finally mustered the courage to talk to her. They hit it off and became fast friends.
